With 30 years in technology — spanning private education, corporate America, and small business — we saw an opportunity to do IT consulting differently. Most companies don't have time to keep up with the constant pace of IT change, or to separate flashy marketing from what actually matters. That's where we come in: we do the research, apply proven best practices, and build a relationship with every client we work with. That philosophy starts with our founder, Buzz. A self-described "technology immigrant" with three decades of hands-on experience, his problem-solving instincts trace back to a family of mechanically-minded engineers — and it shows in his ability to take almost anything apart and make it work again. Over his career, he's worked across nearly every major platform and system, from Cisco and Citrix to Apple and Windows environments, and has advised and implemented 1:1 technology initiatives for K-12 and higher education institutions since the 1990s. His work has spanned the financial and education sectors across nine states, and he holds two Master's degrees, having taught technology at levels ranging from elementary school to graduate school. Alongside bDRIVE, he's also a co-founder of JABCloud LLC and High Trust Data Solutions, LLC.
